The '''Assembly V''' is the Tier 5 variant of the [[Assembly IV]]. Compared to its predecessor, most recipes have 100% higher throughput at the expense of a 60% higher {{infoicon|Electricity}} draw (250 KW vs 400 KW), a 50% higher {{infoicon|Computing|new=yes}} requirement (4 vs 6 TFlops), and a higher maintenance cost in terms of requiring {{infoicon|Maintenance3|text=Maintenance III|link=Maintenance III|new=yes}} instead of {{infoicon|Maintenance II}}. Also note that the recipes for {{infoicon|Solar Cell}} have only a 50% speed increase; these may not be worth upgrading from an [[Assembly IV]].

Since Update 3.0 it has the exact same recipes of [[Assembly IV]]: "Added all recipes from T3, T4 assemblers to T4, T5 assemblers making them always compatible for upgrades."
