The mass of 3 mole of hydrogen, H, is 3.02354 gram&lt;br /&gt;
The mass of 1 mole of ammonia, NH3, is 17.03024 gram&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The mole is widely used in chemistry as a convenient way to express amounts of reactants and products of chemical reactions. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
For the chemical reaction 2 NH3 -&amp;gt; 2 N2 + 3 H2 this means that 12 tonnes ammonia can be converted to a little over 2 tonnes hydrogen and almost 10 tonnes of nitrogen.&lt;br /&gt;
