It doesn't cost anything to build, and it is automatically generated when connecting transports of this type to each other. You can pass items through it as fast as you can send them in.<br />

You can place it directly against building ports to receive or send products. It does not connect to anything that can have a variable I/O (ship modules, balancers, and other connectors).<br />
