The Ore Sorting Plant is a building that handles sorting of mixed materials loaded onto your Pickup, Truck and Haul Truck (Dump) by Small Excavator, Excavator and Mega Excavator. This is required (under default difficulty settings, you can turn it off) as trucks can't directly deliver mixed loads to storage units or buildings.
Can process up to 240 units/60
and has 4 outputs. Your trucks can pick up sorted material directly from the internal buffer instead of a connected Loose Storage, but if you mine quickly, you may need them.
