Steel is a crafted material whose sole source is casting Molten Steel in a Cooled Caster or, later, in a Cooled Caster II. It is a required ingredient in the production of Construction Parts III and other various items.
Steel is also commonly used as a replacement ingredient for Iron in the creation of 
Mechanical Parts. It improves the material efficiency of its constituent Iron Ore.
