The Tree Planter is used to plant trees (obviously). To do so you need to:
- Grow
Tree Saplings on some type of Farm, and preferably send them to a Unit Storage nearby. - Build a Forestry Control Tower, and assign some area to be planted with designations. Note that it won't work if it isn't dirt, like placing Farms.
- Have a Tree Planter assigned to the Forestry Control Tower, and probably a Tree Harvester too.
- The settings on the tower will control when the trees are cut down, there's a sapling needed/wood gained tradeoff.
