The Glass Maker II is an upgrade from the Glass Maker machine used to convert Molten Glass into Glass. Along with its variant, they are the only machines capable of this task.
Compared to the Glass Maker, it requires the same Workers, 67% more Electricity, and the next tier of maintenance parts but in the same quantity. In return, it fully converts Molten Glass to Glass whereas the Glass Maker converts half to Glass and half to Broken Glass. Since only two thirds of that Broken Glass can be turned back into Molten Glass, the Glass Maker II not only produces Glass twice as fast but also avoids both the effort of re-smelting the Broken Glass and the loss of about 25% of the overall material used. Physically it is more than twice as long as the Glass Maker.
