The Cooling Tower (Large) is a much higher throughput and physically much larger variant of the Cooling Tower which allows for the conversion of Steam (High), Steam (Low), and Steam Depleted byproducts into Water. As the ratio of Water to all types of steam is 1:1, the Cooling Tower (Large) thus recovers 75% of the Water contained therein. Compared to the regular Cooling Tower, this marks a 50% increase in the Water recovery rate.

It can process the resulting steam output from up to 8 Arc Furnace II machines or 4 Exhaust Scrubbers. Conversely, it takes exactly 3 of these to handle the steam output of a single Nuclear Reactor.
