The Oxygen Furnace is a machine used for the conversion of Molten Iron into Molten Steel. Along with its variant, the Oxygen Furnace II, they are the only machines capable of this task and are thus are prerequisite for Steel production. Oxygen from an Air Separator or other source is required as an input and acts as a catalyst while Exhaust is produced as a byproduct.
