A Pipe Connector is used to split or merge Liquid Products transports. It doesn't cost anything to build, and it is automatically generated when connecting transports of this type to each other. You can pass items through it as fast as you can send them in.

You can place it directly against building ports to receive or send products. It does not connect to anything that can have a variable I/O (ship modules, balancers, and other connectors).

You cannot create connectors of the same type next to each other automatically as they won't connect, but you can place them manually.

Note that connectors will disappear when they are deemed unnecessary (no splits, same tier, same direction). If you wish to place connectors in close quarters you may need to copy them and the belts from elsewhere.
