This machine is used to get rid of stuff you can't find any other way (or at least a convenient one) to get rid of, such as Waste. It has a completely unavoidable pollution cost to burning things in it. All of the things you can burn in it can be gotten rid of in better ways, such as the Anaerobic Digester, you just need to unlock them.
