The Flare is a machine designed to burn away unwanted flammable liquids. While every flammable liquid in the game can be flared, each of them can either be converted into useful materials with subsequent research or converted into Electricity via Boiler (Gas) or Diesel Generator.

Historical notes

Before the patch 0.4.0, the Flare had different appearance, occupied 3x3 tiles and had two inputs.
