The Sour Water Stripper is the primary machine for processing Sour Water by-products created during the petrochemical refining chain. It is also the primary source of Sulfur until the Sulfur Mine is utilized.

Note that as of EA 0.4.1e, the in-game UI description for this building, at first glance, indicates that it produces Acid, however this is potentially misleading as additional processing is required. To create Acid, process the Sulfur output of this machine with Water in a Mixer.
