The '''Irrigated Farm''' is a direct upgrade of the [[Farm]] which allows for a {{infoicon|Water}} pipe connection in order to irrigate crops when there is insufficient rainfall to prevent growth stoppage. It should be noted that when compared to Farm, this variant has the same growth times and yield in each recipe, but effectively increases throughput by a variable amount due to preventing growth stoppage. It will still grow crops without an external Water source or when one runs dry, but these added benefits are lost.

The Irrigated Farm is a direct upgrade of the Farm which allows for a Water pipe connection in order to irrigate crops when there is insufficient rainfall to prevent growth stoppage. It should be noted that when compared to Farm, this variant has the same growth times and yield in each recipe, but effectively increases throughput by a variable amount due to preventing growth stoppage. It will still grow crops without an external Water source or when one runs dry, but these added benefits are lost.

The Irrigated Farm can also apply Fertilizer imported via either Vehicles or Pipe connection to replenish Fertility at a ratio of 6 units per 1%. As of Beta 0.3.10 (2022-01-15), it is capable of growing Green Manure, Potatoes, and Corn with the addition of Wheat planned for the Early Access release.

An Irrigated Farm needs to have at least one layer of Dirt below each occupied tile, for one to be able to place the building.

The recipes assume that only a single crop is planted in the growth cycle, and that the fertility is set to 100%. The sugar cane, fruits, and poppy, cannot be planted in the irrigated farm.
