Carbon Dioxide is a gaseous Fluid Product. If released to atmosphere via a Smoke Stack (Large) it causes Air Pollution, though only half of what Exhaust causes. It can be injected under ground with a Gas Injection Pump, effectively getting rid of it without causing any Air Pollution.

Carbon Dioxide is produced by many chemical processes: Burning fuels in a Boiler (Gas), Fermenting, Scrubbing exhaust gasses and Cracking or Reforming Fuel Gas into Diesel or Hydrogen.

Carbon Dioxide can be used in two production recepies, both made in Chemical Plant II: It can be converted into Graphite or used to produce Fuel Gas with the use of Hydrogen.
