Crude Oil is a liquid product. It can be obtained by building Oil Pumps on your island, or imported on cargo ships through either Oil Rigs or trade deals.

In the beginning, Crude Oil can only be refined using a Basic Distiller.

After Advanced Diesel is resarched, Distillation (Stage I) [Stage II] can be built. This method of processing oil is entirely superior, producing more Diesel, using less energy, producing less overall pollution, and creating waste products that are easier to refine into useful substances through a Sour Water Stripper.
